It’s an ingredient whose safety hasn’t been questioned thus far by anyone (at least not that we know about). BG is permitted by Ecocert and is likewise used enthusiastically in natural products. BTW, it’s also a food items additive. Right before I bought it, I questioned why there were so many good and undesirable reviews at a similar time.
